Job Position: I.T. Support Officer

Job Description
- In the fast-paced hospitality sector, the I.T. Support Officer plays a critical role in supporting systems that directly impact guest experience, operational efficiency, and staff productivity.
- The I.T. Support Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operation and support of the company's I.T. infrastructure and end-user systems ensuring the smooth functioning of all hardware and software, maintaining network security, and delivering timely and efficient support services.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to staff, ensuring prompt resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain and support systems (Point-of-Sale software), ensuring optimal uptime.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and routine maintenance of all I.T. hardware including servers, workstations, printers, routers, access points, and other peripheral devices.
- Manage the local area network (LAN), wireless networks, internet access, and telecommunications systems to ensure consistent availability.
- Ensure timely software updates, data backups, and security patches across all systems.
- Provide technical support for meetings, events, and conferences hosted within the facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar I.T. support role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong abilities in I.T Hardware support.
- Hands-on experience with hospitality technology systems is highly desirable
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft 365, networking (TCP/IP), Windows OS, and server environments.
- Flexibity to provide after-hours or weekend support as required.
- IT certifications would be an added advantage.
