Job Summary:
This role will help bridge the gap between technology and business needs. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. He / She will collaborate closely with other functions within the organisation to ensure successful project delivery and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications.
2. Process Mapping & Improvement
- Analyze existing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Create process flows, user stories, use cases, and business rules documentation.
3. Solution Design & Documentation
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and recommend solutions.
- Document requirements, system specifications, and user manuals.
4. Testing & Validation
- Develop test plans and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
5. Project Support
- Assist in project planning and estimation.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT or software projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (BABOK, Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Proficiency with requirements documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results.
- Knowledge of SQL or basic data analysis skills is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are an advantage.
