Job Position: Investor Relations Officer
Job Location: Maryland (Hybrid), Lagos

Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate the company’s financial performance, strategy, and prospects effectively through various channels, such as earnings calls, press releases, and investor presentations.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, investor presentations, and press releases, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and disclosure requirements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment, providing feedback to management regarding investor perceptions and market trends.
- Foster relationships with institutional and retail investors to improve their understanding of the company and its value proposition, organising and attending investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows to promote the company's story.
- Preparing communication strategies for adverse situations impacting the company, such as negative earnings reports or legal challenges.
- Working closely with the finance, legal, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive communication across departments.
- Maintaining and analyzing databases of investor contacts and their interests to tailor communications effectively.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, business administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in investment banking, as managing investor relations, public relations, or financial analysis, is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to interpret and present financial data
- Relationship-building skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including executives, investors, and analysts.
- Familiarity with financial software, reporting tools, and investor relations platforms.
- A strong understanding of capital markets, investment strategies, and economic trends.
- Knowledge of Accounting software is crucial.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
