Job Description/Requirements
We have an opening for an ‘
Internal Control Manager ‘!!!
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles.
- Knowledge of federal and provincial legislation affecting charities.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
- Well-developed written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Attention to details and accuracy.
- Process Improvement
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, Sage 300, Peachtree, Tally or/and any other accounting software.
- A good first degree in any social science discipline with a minimum of a second class lower or HND equivalent. Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage.
- Professional Membership of ICAN with good knowledge of IFRS.
- Minimum of 7 years post qualification experience of Internal Control functions. A recognized internal control professional certification will be an added advantage.
