Role Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for leading all financial operations, reporting, and compliance while directly contributing to the company’s commercial growth through financial insights, systems, and touchpoints.
Responsibility
- Lead all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliation processes.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial statements to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure financial data and reports are structured to inform business development and investment decisions.
- Provide insights to identify high-margin client segments, profitable service lines, and underutilized revenue opportunities.
- Develop and manage budgets with direct input into growth forecasts tied to pipeline targets.
- Reconcile bank accounts, raise payment vouchers, and monitor financial exposure on a rolling basis.
- Ensure all financial operations and reporting meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Process vendor payments, negotiate payment terms, and align supplier relationships with business strategy.
- Leverage vendor and partner interactions to uncover new pipeline opportunities (referrals, bundled services, incentives). Lead and mentor the finance team, setting a standard for accountability, timeliness, and data accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; postgraduate certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems.
- Professional accounting certification (ACCA or ICAN) is mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and strategic financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
