Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Interpretation:
- Lead the interpretation and analysis of complex financial data related to all brands under Key Retail Group on Amazon FBA.
- Provide clear and actionable financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy and operational decisions. Translate financial results into understandable terms for non-finance stakeholders, influencing key business outcomes.
Strategic Financial Planning & Budgeting:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end budgeting process, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive budgets are prepared and aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management and business leaders to develop and implement robust financial strategies that drive growth and profitability. Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities through scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and market trend evaluations to support strategic planning.
Financial Reporting & Performance Management:
- Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior leadership and the Board of Directors, highlighting key variances and trends.
- Monitor business performance against budget and strategic targets and support corrective action planning where necessary. Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of financial governance.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to business units, partnering with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to align financial goals with operational plans.
- Drive collaborative financial reviews and business performance meetings, fostering a culture of financial accountability across the organization. Lead financial input for cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment of financial goals with overall corporate strategy.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Leverage financial systems and analytical tools to automate reporting and improve data accuracy. Champion the adoption of best practices in financial management across the finance function.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support investor relations by preparing financial materials and presentations as required.
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members, contributing to their development and upskilling. Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and Amazon FBA operational nuances to provide relevant strategic advice.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CPA) is a strong advantage.
- 2-3 years of progressive finance experience with demonstrable skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic business partnering in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling; experience with ERP and data analytics tools preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proactive, resilient, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
- Knowledge of Amazon FBA operations or e-commerce financial management is highly desirable.
