In this role, you'll carry out equity research on both foreign and Nigerian public companies and support strategic financial planning, performance analysis, and investor reporting. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant news, earnings reports, macroeconomic events, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with the product and content teams to ensure investment insights are translated into user-facing content (where needed).
  • Support fund and investment performance tracking, including yield, returns, and fee structures.
  • Contribute to building internal financial SOPs and automation improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, equity research, or investment management.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and market analysis
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and proficiency in building financial models
  • Familiarity with public markets (NSE & US markets) and experience using data platforms like Bloomberg, TradingView, or Yahoo Finance.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy and insight.
  • Experience using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy breaking down company fundamentals and making complex information easy to understand.
  • Can balance rigorous analysis with strategic storytelling.
  • Are proactive, curious, and passionate about helping others make smarter investment decisions.
  • Are excited to be part of a mission-driven company redefining wealth-building for Africans.

Why Rise?

You’ll have the opportunity to be part of something impactful and meaningful. You’ll be working in a company with a strong mission and a team that is fun, ambitious, and results-driven.

We also offer:

  • Competitive salary.
  • Flexible working hours and a hybrid work model
