Job Description/Requirements
The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high-performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Define & Prioritize: Own Sellyt’s product roadmap for chat-based commerce. Use data and user feedback to set clear priorities, take full ownership of feature outcomes, and pitch Sellyt’s vision to potential investors and key clients.
- Gather Insights: Conduct user interviews and surveys and analyze metrics to understand small-business needs and validate roadmap decisions.
- Write Requirements: Create concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes so engineering and design teams can build without confusion.
- Collaborate: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support. Lead sprint planning, keep everyone aligned on goals, and ensure timely delivery.
- Launch & Iterate: Coordinate releases, track KPIs (onboarding rates, conversion, retention), gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3+ years in product management at a SaaS, e-commerce, or social-commerce company.
Core Skills:
- Smart and intelligent, a quick learner who can absorb new concepts rapidly.
- Ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or other generative AI) for research, prototyping, and efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of ClickUp (task/project management, automation, dashboards).
- Organization and management skills: keeps tasks, timelines, and teams on track.
- Strong analytical ability: comfortable with data (Google Analytics) and A/B tests.
- Clear communicator: writes precise user stories and explains decisions simply.
- Agile mindset: familiar with Scrum/Kanban workflows.
- Articulate: able to communicate and pitch the product to potential investors.
- Ownership mentality: treats Sellyt as your own product and drives outcomes. Proven track record of delivering products on schedule.
Nice to Have:
Background with chatbots, AI-driven tools, or payment integrations.
Experience in early-stage startups or fast-growing teams.
