JOB DESCRIPTION – EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT:

Job Overview:The Executive Assistant to the Vice Chairman (VC) provides high-level support to theExecutive by managing her schedule and facilitating communication with stakeholderson her behalf. Below is a brief description of duties, however, this job description is byno means exhaustive as the successful candidate may be required to perform additionalduties from time to time.

Key Responsibilities: Executive Support: Support the Vice Chairman by liaising with management,staff and external parties on her behalf. Accompany the VC at a wide spectrumof events, meetings and engagements, in and out of the country. Writing: Research, develop and write speeches and sermons for delivery by theVC. Book Publications and Book Management: Assist the Vice Chairman in herbook management and sales of books. Communication Management: Serve as the contact for the executive,handling correspondence and managing communication with internal andexternal stakeholders on her behalf. Brand Management: Liaise with the relevant departments to promote the VC’sbrand image, ensuring consistent messaging and positive public perception. Document Management: Ensure that all the materials produced are saved onone drive for easy retrieval and sharing of documents. Travel Management: Work with the Personal Assistant and Head of protocoland logistics to coordinate all travel arrangements for the VC to include themanagement of luggage, ensuring she has essential documents, managingaccommodation arrangements and the logistics for any events. Email Management: Manage the Vice Chairman’s emails on her behalf andensure the VC is kept abreast of all meetings, speaking engagement invitations,events and financial commitments etc.

Required skills and qualifications: A degree holder Six or more years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly to senior management Proven experience in church ministry-related roles (preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience writing speeches and sermons is an advantage Strong time-management skills and an ability to organise and coordinate multipleconcurrent projects High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. Flexible, adaptable, and able to work well in a dynamic environment.
