Job Summary

The Executive & Administrative Assistant serves as the trusted aide to the Bishop, ensuring excellence in communication, scheduling, and administrative operations. This individual helps create a focused, well-organized environment that allows the senior pastor to lead effectively and fulfill the vision of the ministry. The ideal candidate combines spiritual maturity with professional excellence and approaches the role with joy, hospitality, and confidentiality. This position involves supporting the Bishop virtually and being physically present to represent him in places needed.

  • Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule & Calendar Management: Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel (booking flight tickets, hotels, etc.), and events.
  • Communication Handling: Manage emails, calls, and correspondence, and serve as a point of contact for the Bishop’s office.
  • Administrative Support: Organize files, manage documents, prepare reports, and assist in ministry material preparation.
  • Ministry & Event Coordination: Support planning for services, programs, conferences, and yearly convention.
  • Guest & Hospitality Management: Welcome and assist visitors and ministry guests with grace and professionalism.
  • Personal Support: Assist the Bishop with occasional personal schedule needs as directed.
  • Special Projects: Assist with church-wide initiatives, ministry launches, and other leadership activities.
  • Event & Travel Coordination: Organize logistics for services, conferences, special events, and travel within and outside Nigeria.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of HND
  • A vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the ministry’s vision.
  • 2+ years in executive or administrative support (church/ministry experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar, etc.), technology tools, and the ability to learn new administrative tools.
  • Discreet and trustworthy in handling confidential matters.
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to serve during evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Postsecondary education.
