Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Coordination: Oversee all aspects of event planning, including logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and timeline management to ensure successful execution. • Team Leadership: Supervise event staff (e.g., caterers, AV technicians, decorators) and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations during events. • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their vision, providing updates, and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded. • On-Site Management: Manage events on-site, handling setup, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and venue regulations. • Budget Management: Develop and monitor event budgets, negotiating with vendors to maximize cost efficiency without compromising quality. • Vendor Coordination: Source and manage relationships with vendors (e.g., venues, caterers, entertainers) to secure high-quality services within budget. • Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event debriefs, gather client feedback, and analyze event success to improve future performance. • Compliance and Safety: Ensure events comply with local regulations, permits, and safety standards, including risk assessments and emergency planning. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
