- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Economics according to the approved curriculum.
- Teach microeconomics, macroeconomics, business economics, and related topics.
- Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching aids that make economic principles easy to understand.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, IGCSE where applicable).
- Assess, record, and report on students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage students to think critically about economic issues, policies, and real-world applications.
- Integrate ICT tools, charts, and case studies into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.
- Supervise class projects, debates, and discussions on economic and social issues.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, motivating learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to improve teaching and learning standards.
