Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Dispatch Rider to join our team in Lagos. This role involves the timely and safe delivery of documents, parcels, and packages across various locations within Lagos and its environs. The ideal candidate must be road-savvy, safety-conscious, and committed to excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other items to clients promptly and professionally
Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes
Ensure accurate documentation and secure handling of items
Collect recipient signatures and confirm the condition of delivered items
Maintain regular communication with dispatch supervisors and office staff
Conduct routine maintenance checks on the motorcycle and ensure it’s in excellent condition
Report any delivery delays, issues, or incidents immediately
Comply with traffic laws and adhere to company policies on delivery procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC
Proven experience working as a dispatch rider in Lagos
Valid Rider’s Card / Driver’s License
Excellent knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and shortcuts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
Physically fit, punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
