Job Title: Floor Representative
Location: Supermarket in Gwarinpa Abuja
Department: Sales/Floor Operations
Reports To: Floor Supervisor or Store Manager

Job Summary:
The Floor Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers on the supermarket floor. They are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales area while providing excellent customer service, assisting with product inquiries, and ensuring an overall positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Guide customers to product locations and provide basic product information.
- Ensure shelves are neatly arranged, clean, and well-stocked at all times.
- Monitor and report low stock levels to the inventory or supervisor team.
- Replenish shelves from back stock or storage as needed.
- Ensure product prices and labels are accurate and visible.
- Handle customer complaints or escalate them to supervisors when necessary.
- Observe and maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned aisles or sections.
- Assist in stock rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out) to prevent expired goods.
- Support during periodic stock counts or inventory audits.
- Coordinate with security and other staff for loss prevention.
- Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and operational policies of the supermarket.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC /OND/HND/BSC
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long hours and lift moderate weights.
- Customer-focused and polite demeanor.
- Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision.
