About the Role
OneBarrow International Ltd is seeking a CSR Strategist to lead the design, integration, and execution of sustainable corporate social responsibility initiatives. This role ensures alignment with SDGs, regulatory frameworks, client values, and brand equity goals while converting compliance challenges into measurable social impact.
The CSR Strategist is expected to blend strategic planning, legal expertise, and executional capability to deliver measurable CSR outcomes while strengthening the organization’s positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct stakeholder needs assessments, risk analysis, and CSR diagnostics.
Translate diagnostics into measurable CSR programs and social investment proposals.
Negotiate CSR-aligned alternatives to regulatory penalties using legal instruments.
Coordinate campaigns, trainings, stakeholder events, and field interventions.
Map interventions to SDGs and organizational KPIs.
Track activities, produce CSR and ESG reports, and support compliance requirements.
Collaborate with PR, Events, and Research teams to amplify impact.
Candidate Profile
Must be resident in Lagos (preference for candidates in the Ikeja axis).
A degree in Law, Social Sciences, or related field (Legal background strongly preferred).
Strong understanding of CSR, ESG, and SDG frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to analyze compliance gaps, identify reputational risks, and design CSR alternatives.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
Compensation & Growth
Starting Salary non negotiable: ₦130,000 monthly.
Performance Bonus: 10% of profit after EBITA on CSR deals directly initiated, closed, and successfully executed.
Example: If the CSR Strategist delivers a CSR deal yielding ₦1,000,000 profit after EBITA, the strategist earns ₦100,000 as bonus.
