Talks About YOU is a podcast brand that shares authentic stories from young Africans navigating life, purpose, and success. Through storytelling and creative digital content, we aim to empower and inspire our audience.

We are currently seeking a Content Marketer who can help grow our podcast brand by creating, repurposing, and managing content across digital platforms. The ideal candidate should be skilled in video editing, graphic design, and digital storytelling.

Responsibilities

Repurpose podcast episodes into written content such as captions, newsletters, and blog posts

Edit short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

Design graphics, carousels, thumbnails, and social media posts using Canva or Adobe tools

Write compelling headlines, captions, and descriptions that align with the podcast tone

Manage a content calendar and schedule posts across all platforms

Collaborate with the podcast team to ensure timely rollout of each episode

Monitor content performance and provide regular reports or improvement suggestions

Ensure brand consistency in all designs and written materials

Requirements

Proven experience in content marketing or social media marketing

Strong writing and editing skills with a good understanding of storytelling

Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, InShot, etc.)

Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)

Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok)

Experience using content planning tools (e.g., Notion, Trello, Buffer)

Must be based in Lagos and available for hybrid work

Portfolio or samples of work required

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with podcast content or media brands

Basic knowledge of YouTube optimization or podcast SEO

Experience with email marketing tools like Mailchimp or ConvertKit

Interest in storytelling, African youth culture, or digital media trends
