Our client, a reputable manufacturing company, is seeking to fill the role of chief operating officer.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, operations management, or any related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, etc., an MBA, or a master’s degree in finance or any related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead production and oversee end-to-end manufacturing and engineering to ensure timely, high-quality output, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute long-term business strategies and identify growth opportunities in product lines, market segments, and geographies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team, drive strategy, and support long-term growth by shaping and executing operational strategies.
- Manage procurement of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production and optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability.
- Oversee shipping and logistics to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Build Teams, Develop a skilled, accountable, and high-performing operations team.
