Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including tracking income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company's budget, providing variance analysis and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.
- Auditing: Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue growth.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, ICAN, or equivalent) must be chartered.
- Must have proven experience in accounting (minimum 5 years).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
