We're looking for a Carbon Market Expert to join our growing team of sustainability professionals.

Location: Nigeria, Abuja (Remote/Hybrid – open to travel as needed)

Experience Required: 2+ Years |

Projects Handled: 4–5 end-to-end until credit issuance.

About QFN-Carbon Credit Creators (QFN-CCC)

QFN-CCC is a leading project developer and aggregator of carbon projects that provides a platform and standard for certifying GHG Projects. We help you convert your climate action into tradable carbon credits, which serve as an additional revenue stream that helps to co-finance your greenhouse gas (GHG) Projects.

QFN-CCC makes sure the GHG impact of the project is real, additional, independently verified, unique, not counted or claimed already, and doesn't have negative side effects on the local environment and communities.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage carbon credit projects across sectors from design to issuance

• Work closely with third-party verifiers, registries, and methodology standards (Verra, Gold Standard, etc.)

• Support in project documentation (PDD, monitoring reports) and emission reduction calculations

• Stay updated on market trends and carbon pricing mechanisms

• Contribute to strategy, innovation, and knowledge sharing
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in carbon project development

• Successfully handled at least 4 to 5 carbon projects through to issuance of credits

• Strong knowledge of baseline setting, additionality, MRV, and stakeholder engagement

• Familiarity with both voluntary and compliance markets • Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience with nature-based or tech-based solutions (biochar, renewables, energy efficiency, etc.)

• Exposure to climate finance, Article 6, or carbon asset development.
