Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and connected Business Development Officer to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate must live in Lagos and have a deep understanding of the Lagos construction and interior design market, including key players, trends, and client expectations. You will be responsible for driving sales, building partnerships, and increasing brand visibility across residential, commercial, and developer sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities within the Lagos construction and design ecosystem.
Grow sales and market awareness for Kudev’s offerings including interior design, renovation, Kudev Paints, doors, and bespoke fittings.
Leverage industry connections with developers, architects, real estate agents, and facility managers to generate leads.
Conduct market analysis on Lagos-specific trends, pricing, and client needs.
Prepare and present project proposals, client quotes, and business pitches.
Attend client meetings, site inspections, and relevant industry events in Lagos.
Maintain relationships with prospects and current clients to ensure long-term engagement.
Provide feedback to the design and operations teams to tailor solutions for Lagos clientele.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Architecture, or related field.
Must be based in Lagos and familiar with the city’s construction and interior design landscape.
Minimum of 2 years experience in business development or sales in the construction, real estate, or design industries.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Ability to close deals and exceed targets.
Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Attributes
Existing client or partner network in the Lagos construction industry.
Comfortable with site visits, project walkthroughs, and interpreting floor plans.
