As a Business Developer Intern, you’ll help us grow Auqli’s network by identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with high-potential small businesses. You’ll gain hands-on experience in market research, vendor acquisition, and partnership development, all while driving real impact in the e-commerce space.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Map out key Lagos markets (Yaba/Tejuosho, Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos Island, Trade Fair)
- Identify and prioritise high-volume vendors and digital sellers on WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners
- Conduct outreach via calls, DMs, and in-person visits to introduce Auqli’s value proposition
- Guide businesses through our signup process, collect their product catalogs, and schedule their first live or Blip session
- Negotiate MoUs that outline performance targets and incentive structures
- Serve as the main liaison for a portfolio of 10–15 vendors
- Monitor vendor performance (live-session conversion, Blip engagement, repeat purchase rates)
- Host virtual trainings and on-site workshops on best practices for live selling and Blip creation
- Gather feedback and collaborate with Product, Tech, and Operations to continuously enhance the seller experience
- Track and report key metrics and trends to inform growth strategies
- Assist Marketing with designing promotions, referral programs, and local events Support the design of performance-based incentive models and scorecards
Requirements:
- Fresh graduate or recent NYSC corps member based in Lagos
- Strong researcher and communicator with a knack for building partnerships
- Active on WhatsApp, Instagram, and/or TikTok; comfortable with digital outreach
- Familiar with Lagos markets and small-business ecosystems
- Passionate about tech, commerce, and empowering youth entrepreneurs
- Self-driven, resourceful, and ready to travel locally for vendor engagement
