JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leading and supporting the execution of financial advisory, capital structuring and investment mandates across infrastructure, energy, transportation, digital infrastructure, and other real asset sectors. Works closely with Partners, contributing to deal execution, client engagement, and strategic development across the firm’s mandates and strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Investment Origination & Execution
- Supports deal sourcing activities through market research, networking, and pipeline tracking.
- Conducts detailed financial modelling from scratch, debt sizing, valuation analysis (DCF, 2 IRR, comparable), and sensitivity testing for advisory mandates and potential investments.
- Assists in structuring transactions including identifying the optimal capital structure / solution, assessing risk allocation, and putting in place the right legal framework around transactions.
- Leads due diligence processes (technical, legal, financial, ESG, insurance) alongside external advisors and internal teams.
- Prepares investment committee materials, pitch decks, information memorandums and internal memos.
Portfolio Management
- Monitors performance of portfolio assets including operational KPIs, financial metrics, and covenant compliance.
- Assists in preparation of quarterly reports, board presentations, and investor updates. • Works with asset managers, technical teams, and partners to implement value-creation initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinates with internal teams (legal, ESG, tax) and external parties (co-investors, banks, developers, government bodies).
- Attends industry conferences, investor meetings, and site visits.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or ICAN certification is an added advantage
- MBA is an added advantage
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in financial advisory, infrastructure finance, real asset investing, private equity, project finance, investment banking.
- Demonstrated track record in transaction execution or asset management within infrastructure sectors.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of financial advisory, investment banking, project finance, and/or capital structuring.
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Strong understanding of project finance, infrastructure investment structures, and risk assessment.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools; knowledge of financial databases.
- Proven track record in supporting or leading successful transactions. Transaction lifecycle.
