Job Summary:
Seeking an enthusiastic Yoruba Language teacher who can teach both Junior and Senior Secondary classes and instill pride in indigenous language and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Yoruba Language and Literature from JSS1–SS3.
- Prepare lesson plans according to Nigerian curriculum and WAEC/NECO standards.
- Engage students with cultural activities, literature, and oral traditions.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide individualized feedback.
- Encourage reading and writing in Yoruba.
- Prepare students for WAEC and internal language exams.
Requirements:
- B.A. Yoruba, Linguistics, or Education with Yoruba specialization.
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Ability to teach Yoruba literature, proverbs, and oral traditions.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
