We are seeking a highly skilled Wealth/Business Development Manager with more than four years of experience in the financial services for Asset Management sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Fund Mobilization and Client Relationship Management. Experience in the asset management industry is required. This role requires a dynamic professional with an existing clientele base, the ability to drive client acquisition, manage high-net-worth client portfolios, and contribute to business growth through strategic networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and corporate clients.
- Understand clients’ financial goals, risk appetite, and investment preferences to provide tailored financial advice.
- Regularly communicate with clients to update them on portfolio performance, market trends, and new investment opportunities.
- Address client concerns, ensuring satisfaction and trust in financial planning strategies.
- Business Development & Networking
- Identify and acquire new clients, expanding the firm’s portfolio of high-net-worth and institutional investors.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to attract and retain clients.
- Attend industry events, seminars, and networking functions to enhance visibility and build professional relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CFA, CFP, or CIS is a plus).
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the Financial Services sector, particularly in investment/asset management is required.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, asset management, and investment products.
- Proven ability to develop and manage client investment portfolios.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, portfolio analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
