Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate the daily warehousing activities. He/she will implement receipt, cleaning of Cocoa Bean, maintaining good product quality standard, adhering to Environmental Health & Safety and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits.
The successful candidate will ensure that daily operations meet and exceed performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share and manage the overall operations within Sagamu Warehouse. This role reports to the Operations Manager and will based in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the reception, production, storage and stuffing of cocoa beans
- Ensures inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with the system balance regularly
- Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping
- Effectively supervise activities of warehouse staff
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports of warehouse activities (Stock Count, Production, etc.)
- Provide firm leadership backed with integrity
- Serve as back up for Agromex operations
- Work effectively with other business units
- Maintain quality throughout each operational stage/process
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain, Social Science or any other relevant qualification with at least 3 years’ experience in warehousing/inventory management. Project management will be an advantage
- Previous work experience in an agricultural commodity warehouse will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft applications with good working knowledge of ERP tool like Agromex
- Good knowledge and application of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) principles
- Ability to generate and report useful warehouse inventory data
- Good interpersonal, communication with strong people and organizational management skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of honesty and integrity
- Strong culture for results, data analysis, service and customer satisfaction management
