Job Description/Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Content Strategy & Calendar: Develop a monthly content calendar aligned with Pinpoint’s brand voice and marketing goals.
- Post Creation & Scheduling: Write compelling copy and source/coordinate graphics or short videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments and messages, engage with followers, and foster community interactions. Grow our audience through proactive outreach (comments, mentions, and direct messages).
- Campaign Execution: Support launch campaigns for new features or blog posts by creating teasers, countdowns, and follow-up posts to maximize reach and engagement.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key metrics (followers, engagement rate, impressions) using platform analytics or tools like Google Analytics. Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Hashtag & Trend Research: Stay updated on industry trends, relevant hashtags, and competitor activity. Apply findings to improve content discoverability and engagement.
- Collaborate & Iterate: Work with designers to refine visuals, coordinate with product leads for accurate messaging, and adjust strategies based on feedback and performance data.
What We’re Looking For
- Basic Portfolio or Examples: Links to personal or academic social media accounts, blog posts, or community pages you’ve managed—any evidence of content creation and engagement.
- Platform Familiarity: Comfortable using LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook (or TikTok) for posting, scheduling (e.g., via Buffer, Hootsuite), and basic analytics.
- Copywriting Skills: Strong written communication with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging captions and posts.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to track social metrics, interpret data trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Organization & Time Management: Skilled at planning and executing a content calendar; able to meet posting deadlines consistently.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong remote communication skills—comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a mentoring environment.
- Willingness to Learn: Eager to explore new platforms, trends, and tools; open to mentorship from senior marketers and designers.
No prior professional experience is required—if you’ve managed a personal page, blog, or community, you’ll thrive in this role.
