We are looking for a reliable, diligent volunteer HR Coordinator to assist various departments with HR processes.
Our organization is a startup and this is a flexible role (minimum 5hrs/week). Effective communication is required and slacking/poor communication will not be allowed.
The HR Coordinators will report directly to the founders. HRs can suggest and create rules and procedures, your creative ideas are welcomed.
What You’ll Do:
- Recruitment & Hiring: Manage job postings, screen candidates, schedule interviews, etc.
- Volunteer Management: Oversee the performance of volunteers, tracking progress and providing regular feedback. Be the go-to contact for queries and maintaining staff records.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Handle onboarding of new hires by preparing necessary documentation, setting up meetings and ensuring a seamless onboarding process. Handle offboarding when necessary. Email Management: Monitor and manage the company’s HR emails, flag important correspondence, and update the founders on action items.
Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of experience in human resources or similar roles.
- Familiarity with HR processes & methods
- Must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally
- At most 48hrs response rate
- Must be tech-savvy. Know how to use technical software for HR tasks. Must be proactive and can work without supervision.
