Job Description/Requirements
This role combines strong video editing skills with social media support to bring ideas to life across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and highly proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. You should have a good sense of storytelling, a strong grasp of timing and rhythm, and an understanding of the kind of content that thrives online.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging, polished video content for social media, campaigns, YouTube, reels, and more.
- Create animated graphics, intros, outros, and transitions using Adobe After Effects.
- Apply color correction, audio mixing, and basic sound design to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with the content and creative team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Adapt videos into various formats and sizes for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Social Media Support
- Assist with scheduling and uploading content across platforms.
- Help brainstorm content ideas and video trends for short-form platforms (IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Monitor video performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest editing styles, platform trends, and algorithm changes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a video editor with a solid portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro/Adobe After Effects is a must.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing.
- Basic knowledge of social media platform requirements and trends.
- Familiarity with sound design, transitions, motion graphics, and typography.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition).
- Experience with content calendars, scheduling tools (like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite).
- Basic understanding of SEO, content strategy, or digital marketing.
