We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Content Creator to lead the planning, creation, and curation of engaging video content across all our digital platforms. This role involves end-to-end video production—from ideation, scripting, filming, and editing to publishing and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, understands digital trends, and knows how to optimize video content to inform, entertain, and convert audiences.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, product) to develop video assets for social media, websites, email campaigns, online ads, and internal use. You will also be responsible for curating relevant third-party video content that aligns with our brand voice and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, produce, and edit high-quality short- and long-form video content for social media, web, ads, and more
- Curate trending and relevant video content that aligns with brand messaging and campaign goals
- Create compelling storyboards and scripts that resonate with target audiences
- Shoot video using professional equipment, including managing lighting, sound, and camera angles
- Edit video content using advanced editing tools and ensure formatting for platform-specific delivery (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Work closely with the marketing team to translate campaign goals into visual content
- Analyze performance metrics (views, engagement, conversions) to improve content strategies
- Stay up to date with video trends, tools, and best practices in digital video content
- Organize and maintain a content library of original and curated video assets
Requirements:
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.)
- Working knowledge of motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects)
- Experience operating video production equipment (camera, lighting, audio gear)
- Familiarity with platform-specific formats and optimization techniques
- Understanding of SEO best practices for video (thumbnails, captions, metadata)
Creative & Communication Skills
- Strong visual storytelling and creative scripting abilities
- Ability to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute video ideas independently
- Collaborative mindset with excellent verbal and written communication
- Attention to detail in framing, transitions, color grading, and sound design
Marketing Knowledge
- Understanding of audience behavior across video platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels)
- Experience producing content tailored for paid ads and engagement
- Familiarity with performance tracking tools (YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager)
Education & Experience:
- BSc/HND in Film Production, Multimedia, Communication, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in video content creation, preferably in a brand or agency setting
