Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and sell company products to customers on a daily route using a company-provided van.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, route productivity, and coverage objectives.
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) and merchandise displays at retail outlets.
- Collect payments and ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Maintain records of sales, deliveries, and customer interactions.
- Identify new sales opportunities and route optimization strategies.
- Manage vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
- Monitor stock levels in the van and ensure proper loading and unloading procedures. Provide excellent customer service and resolve client complaints effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in van sales, field sales, or FMCG distribution (1–3 years preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of the local market/route.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and stock counting.
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma/degree in Sales or Marketing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with mobile sales tools or handheld devices (e.g., POS, route tracking).
