Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop new customer relationships: maintain and manage existing ones.
- Identify customer needs and seek to meet them in the most efficient and effective way.
- Fund the Group through the marketing of treasury investment products.
- Review and develop marketing strategies/plans and make appropriate recommendations to the Group Treasurer.
- Support with the development and assessment of treasury solutions to suit target markets.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of Treasury sales drive.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of information on existing and potential customers.
- Prepare Management reports and updates as required.
- Drive sales and marketing of Derivatives and structured treasury solutions.
- Build partnerships with customers, develop brand equity and ‘trusted partner’ relationships.
- Leverage relationship to drive client engagement and subscription with respect to treasury products.
- Meet all sales metrics – client calling, client visits, and other client engagement.
- Map client to determine client suitability and appropriateness for these products.
- Working with ALM/Investment to scope opportunities to deploy derivative and hedge products.
- Drive client engagement up the value chain towards higher value, higher margin treasury products.
- Work with ALM/Investment, Foreign Exchange Desk, and Treasury Operations to ensure proper recording, keeping, and booking of client investments.
- Other duties assigned by the Treasurer from time to time
- Contribute to building the CIGL’s reputation in the markets through personally demonstrating a high level of professionalism at all times, and through developing mutually beneficial working relationships with clients, agents, advisors, counter-parties, etc.
- Support the Treasurer in marketing and relationship calls.
- Builds and establishes individual market presence.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with financial service providers.
