We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Manager to lead and coordinate technical teams in delivering high-quality solutions and driving innovation. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise to oversee project delivery, ensure best practices, and support team development. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on problem-solving, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, developers, or technical specialists to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management to team members
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables
- Drive the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable solutions
- Monitor team progress, identify risks or blockers, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure code quality, security, and system reliability by enforcing technical standards and best practices
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and tools
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and professional development of technical staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management capacity
- Strong technical background in [specify relevant tech stack or area – e.g., software development, cloud infrastructure, data engineering]
- Proven experience managing end-to-end technical projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or enterprise environment
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with performance reviews, career development, and team building

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
