On behalf of our client, an International Primary School in Lagos, we seek to recruit experienced Teachers
Location: Lagos (Ojodu/Berger/Omole)
Job Summary:
The Teacher will teach and prepare children by developing their vocabulary, social skills, and behaviour.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Structures a developmentally appropriate educational experience in the classroom using methods such as storytelling, games, and activities.
2. Teach pupils' to follow rules and procedures in the classroom and school.
3. Monitor their progress throughout the year and evaluates preparedness for learning.
4. Builds and maintains positive relationships with parents.
5. Enforces safety and security standards for children, staff, and visitors.
6. Maintains required paperwork for individual student files, attendance and incident reports, and other necessary records.
7. Extensive knowledge of development principles and developmentally appropriate educational practices.
8. Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to plan, manage, and evaluate curriculum.
9. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required for recordkeeping and documentation.
Education and Experience:
Education degree preferred. Previous experience as a teacher or a teachers assistant preferred.
