Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for a STEM Instructor (Amuwo/Festac) at CODEFEST AFRICA. The STEM Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to students. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, creating hands-on learning activities, assessing student progress, and maintaining a supportive learning environment. The instructor will also participate in curriculum development and collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the educational experience.
Qualifications

• Knowledge and instructional skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
• Experience in preparing lesson plans and delivering effective lectures
• Skills in creating hands-on learning activities and assessing student progress
• Passion for education and commitment to student success
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other instructors and staff
• Relevant teaching certifications and experience in STEM education
• Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field or Education
Experience working in an educational setting, preferably in STEM
