Title: Senior Sales Engineer
Salary: 400k - 500k net + Commission
Min of 5 years cooperate B2B experience.

My client is a sales and procurement firm that is engaged in providing engineering solutions in all manufacturing sectors. They specialize in the supply of power transmission products, bearings, conveyor spares, industrial hoses, tools, maintenance (predictive and preventive), lubrication, seals, pumps, valves, gaskets, electric motors, gears drives, standard sand, sealing adhesives, fasteners, vulcanizing components, welding solutions, automation parts, etc. The company’s services also include technical support, installations, servicing, procurement services, and consultancy.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking someone with strong sales experience, preferably from a similar industry. Individuals who have successfully sold products or services to Cement/Construction/Mining companies will be highly preferred, as they bring relevant market knowledge and established networks.
General Function & Key Objectives:
- Drive sales growth, market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction within assigned territory.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets for company brands and Fuchs lubricants in Nigeria.
- Develop industry segment sales via direct visits and partners/freelancers.
- Build and manage strong customer relationships, ensuring proper product use and value selling.
- Act as a consultant to customers, providing technical and product guidance.
- Maintain clear sales plans while protecting premium pricing.
- Deliver minimum 30% gross contribution.
- Report market activities (daily, weekly, monthly) on customers, competitors, and progress.
- Support sales through site surveys, technical advice, demos, and exhibitions.
- Continuously upgrade product knowledge and support full sales cycle (prospecting to negotiation).
Skills Required:
- Proven sales experience in machines, parts, and lubricants (compressors, pumps, valves, belts, bearings, etc.).
- Background in manufacturing/engineering with strong B2B sales record.
- Industry exposure: FMCG, F&B, Construction, Cement, etc.
- Strong selling skills, business acumen, resilience, and problem-solving ability.
- Quick relationship-building, teamwork, and results-driven mindset.
Educational Requirement:
- BSc/HND in related fields (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 5 years corporate B2B direct sales in FMCG, F&B or similar sectors.
