We are looking for an SEO Lead who will help us become the default search destination for anyone looking to buy skincare, makeup, personal care, or wellness products online in Nigeria.
Your Mission
Drive massive, organic traffic growth by building an SEO architecture, content strategy, and performance engine that makes Brandlistry the go-to beauty destination in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities. Strategy & Keyword Planning
- Own full SEO strategy for category, product, blog, brand, concern, and ingredient pages
- Perform detailed keyword research and clustering for Nigerian search behavior
- Identify opportunities for high-intent, long-tail traffic growth
Architecture & Execution
- Define and optimize URL structures, internal linking, and page templates
- Collaborate with developers and designers to build SEO-first site components
- Ensure site speed, mobile performance, structured data, and indexing health
Content SEO
- Create briefs for writers with keywords, meta data, and structure
- Build editorial calendars for blog, concern pages, and ingredient guides
- Optimize existing pages for better ranking (on-page SEO)
Analytics & Growth
- Use GSC, Ahrefs, or Semrush to track keyword rankings and traffic
- Run ongoing audits for crawl issues, content cannibalization, and link structure
- Monitor traffic, bounce rate, CTR, and other key KPIs

- Screaming Frog
- SurferSEO / Clearscope
- Shopify or headless CMS
- Notion, Trello or Airtable
Requirements
- 2–5 years of SEO experience (agency or in-house)
- Track record of growing traffic for ecommerce or content-driven platforms
- Deep understanding of technical SEO and on-page best practices
- Strong keyword research and content planning skills
- Familiarity with beauty, wellness, or African consumer search trends is a huge plus
- Can work independently, move fast, and execute lean
Bonus (but not required)
- Experience scaling SEO in Nigeria or other African markets
- Understanding of health & beauty audiences
- Some knowledge of affiliate SEO or marketplaces (Amazon, Jumia, Konga, etc.)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦350,000.00 per month
