We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Sales Manager to expand our client base, drive revenue growth, and strengthen our market presence.


Role Overview


The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for leading business development efforts, acquiring new clients, and closing high-value insurance brokerage deals . The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in insurance sales, an active network of clients, and the ability to drive growth in a competitive market. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, relationship management, and deal execution .


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow the firm’s brokerage portfolio across corporate and retail clients.
  • Leverage personal network and industry connections to secure new business opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and close large-ticket insurance brokerage deals across Life, Health, Motor, and General Insurance lines.
  • Build and manage long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Drive adoption of the company’s digital brokerage platform and tools.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports, forecasts, and pipelines to management.
  • Mentor and support junior sales executives to improve team performance.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 7–10 years proven experience in insurance brokerage sales , with a track record of closing high-value deals.
  • Strong existing network of corporate and retail insurance clients in Nigeria.
  • Deep understanding of insurance brokerage products, regulatory environment, and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in digital platforms, CRM tools, and virtual client engagement.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
