Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Associate Lawyer at Moland Partners, located in Lagos. The Senior Associate Lawyer will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks associated with corporate and commercial law, including legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, providing legal advice and consultation, representing clients in legal proceedings, and assisting with transactional matters. The Senior Associate Lawyer will work closely with partners and other team members to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7- 10 years post-call legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Strong knowledge and experience in corporate and commercial law
• Experience in corporate and commercial litigation
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to draft and review legal documents and contracts
• Sound understanding of Nigerian legal system and regulations
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proactive and self-motivated attitude
Experience in energy law and maritime law is an added advantage
