Primary Responsibilities
- Implement and realize Business Development, Sales and Marketing goals for Nigeria.
- Manage budgets for marketing and sales campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Create unique sales plans, engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature to enhance the company’s brand presence in the market.
- Leadership of the sales force team.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with clients, potential customers, and other stakeholders. Manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
- Identify and evaluate customer needs, anticipate & develop opportunities through market research, and close sales deals.
- Collaborate with the business and operations team towards increasing business profitability, providing feedback on commercials and service delivery.
- Spot and follow through with business opportunities and market trends across sectors; Recommend actions for specific growth of new businesses.
- Set sales targets, track performance, and develop plans for improvement if necessary
- Analyze financials and monitor client-base for customer acquisition, customer retention and new business development.
- Plan and oversee marketing activities, ensuring consistency with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with the tender team in analyzing tender success and developing proactive action plan.
- Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop strong relationships with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty.
- Prepare and present sales and marketing reports to senior management as required.
- Keep abreast of our service portfolio and specific needs from the management team.

Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Management, Engineering or Technology or other relevant disciplines.
- MBA qualification and membership of the marketing professional body is desirable.
- 5+ years’ proven experience in a sales or business development leadership role, preferably in Oil and Energy or Manufacturing, with track record of success.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proven competence in the use of office suites: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI
Required Skills
- Strategic thinker with proficiency in conducting actionable market research.
- Experience in leading and managing team of sales and marketing professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing market data and trends to draft reports and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media strategy. Thinks on the foot; spontaneous goal-getter!
