Job Description/Requirements
- Develop, maintain, and implement a comprehensive risk management framework policies and procedures that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines. Continuously update and enhance the framework to address emerging risks.
- Identify and assess risks across the capital markets, insurance, and banking subsidiaries. Collaborate with business units to understand and evaluate risks associated with their operations.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plansto minimize potential losses. Monitor the effectiveness of these strategies and implement risk reduction measures, such as diversification, hedging, and stress testing.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure that the company and its subsidiaries are in compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and submit reports as required by regulatory authorities.
- Manage the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) to ensure that the company maintains adequate capital buffers to cover potential losses. Identify capital requirements and optimize capital allocation across the ecosystem.
- Develop risk models and metrics to quantify risk exposures.
- Conduct stress tests and scenario analysis to assess the company's ability to withstand adverse economic conditions.
- Oversee and coordinate the external rating process across the ecosystem, ensuring that accurate independent risk assessments are conducted for various business lines and assets. Maintain the integrity of the risk rating system and make improvements as needed.
- Establish a robust risk monitoring system to track key risk indicators and report on risk exposures to senior management and the board of directors. Provide timely and insightful risk reports. Prepare regular risk reports for the executive management and the board of directors.
- Foster strong collaboration with business units, risk, internal audit, and compliance teams to promote a risk-aware culture throughout the organization. Provide guidance and support in risk-related matters.
- Develop and deliver risk management training and awareness programs for employees to enhance their understanding of risk-related concepts and best practices.
- Provide support to the assurance functions within the entities in the ecosystem. Provide support to the Chief Risk Officer and perform other duties as may be assigned by Management.
