Job Description/Requirements
We are hiring a RESEARCH ASSOCIATE who will play a critical role in conducting literature reviews, data collection, and analyses , conducting in-depth research on international trade, economic policy, and development trends in Africa , assisting in the preparation of reports, policy briefs, and presentations based on research findings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews, data collection, and analyses
- Conduct in-depth research on international trade, economic policy, and development trends in Africa
- Preparation of reports, policy briefs, and presentations based on research findings
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to support research objectives
- Collaborate with senior researchers on trade and investment-related projects
- Stay updated with the latest trends, policies, and developments in African and global trade
- Liaise with stakeholders, including governmental bodies, international organisations, and private sector partners, for data collection and insights Prepare articles, reports, and presentations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in international trade, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields from a reputable institution. A Ph.D will be an added advantage
Experience: A minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience and previous experience in a multinational research organisation, or an academic institution
