Job Purpose:
The Research Analyst will play a key role in supporting business consulting, productivity improvement, and strategic management initiatives through rigorous research, data analysis, and actionable insight generation. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy professional capable of turning data into strategic recommendations that guide client engagements, internal planning, and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Intelligence Gathering
- Conduct industry-specific, macroeconomic, and client-focused research to support consulting projects.
- Monitor trends in productivity, innovation, workplace transformation, and operational efficiency.
- Compile competitor analysis, market assessments, and best practice benchmarks.
- Support organizational diagnostics, needs assessments, and sectoral analysis.
Data Analysis & Insight Generation
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using statistical tools and frameworks.
- Develop models, summaries, and trend reports that inform strategic recommendations.
- Create data dashboards and KPIs to measure organizational and operational performance.
- Translate data into business intelligence to support client solutions and internal strategy.
Report Writing & Content Development
- Produce clear and concise research reports, whitepapers, and client deliverables.
- Draft presentations, briefs, and proposal inputs for consulting engagements.
- Develop content for workshops, thought leadership, and internal knowledge management.
Support for Strategy & Consulting Projects
- Collaborate with consultants on project execution, research frameworks, and productivity audits.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans, process improvement models, and organizational assessments.
- Support pre-engagement studies, client discovery sessions, and solution design.
Technology & Innovation
- Leverage digital tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Notion, etc.) for research automation and visualization.
- Support the adoption and integration of tech platforms that enhance consulting productivity.
- Explore emerging technologies relevant to client industries (AI tools, HR tech, digital transformation).
Required Qualifications:
✅ Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Master’s degree or professional certification in research, analytics, or strategy (an added advantage).
✅ Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in research, strategy, or business consulting roles.
- Familiarity with productivity frameworks, organizational development, or management consulting.
✅ Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical tools knowledge: Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Competency in research tools like Google Scholar, Statista, IBISWorld, or World Bank data.
- Working knowledge of project management tools (Notion, Trello, Asana, etc.).
