Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Relationship Manager/Investment Advisor located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Relationship Manager/Investment Advisor will be responsible for managing client relationships, assessing and meeting financial needs of clients, providing investment advice and wealth management services, and developing financial strategies. The role also involves market research, preparing investment portfolios, and working closely with the firm's Asset Management and Transaction Services teams.
Responsibilities:
Functional
- Onboarding new clients.
- Selling the company’s services to potential clients.
- Managing and executing client requests.
- Ensuring client services are available on all the company’s platforms.
- Preparation of monthly report on client engagement.
Strategic
- Contributing to market insights on client demography and marketing.
- Maintaining client relationships and brand image.
Experience and skills
Minimum Educational Requirement:BSc (preferably in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Management/Administration or Phycology)
Candidate Experience:
- Minimum 5 - 7 years post study experience (In banking/finance sector)
- Preferable previous experience in a commercial bank or finance service provider.
- Experience managing several stakeholders.
Key skills:
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft word and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of mutual funds.
- Advanced communication skills- both written and oral.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills
- High level of customer engagement – whilst effectively managing customer expectations.
- Ability to work in a team.
