We’re looking for a React Native Engineer to design, build, and deploy high-quality mobile applications. You’ll own the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle,working in a fast-moving, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement React Native components (Expo/eas-build, native modules).
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for app deployment (auto-deploy on push, rollback strategies).
- Ensure unit and integration tests with Jest/React Testing Library; log and resolve issues weekly.
- Collaborate daily with the Product Owner, refine scope, and iterate quickly with a fail-fast mindset.
Required Expertise
- 3+ years building production React Native apps (Expo, eas-build, native modules, store releases, fastlane).
- Strong skills in GraphQL/REST APIs, Docker, cloud deployments, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
- Comfortable in agile workflows (1-week sprints, daily stand-ups).
Bonus Skills
- Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Pair-programming and collaborative coding.
- DevOps mindset: “you build it, you run it.”
Working Style
- Short daily stand-ups (<10 min) and async communication via Teams/Google Workspace.
- Incremental commits, test-first mindset, PRs merge only when tests and lint checks pass.
- Transparent tracking of issues and failures to guide iteration.
Deliverables & Definition of Done
- Mobile app build (APK/IPA) hosted and gated behind feature flags.
- Automated build, test, deploy, and rollback pipeline.
- README with architecture diagram and backlog for next steps.
- Sprint retrospectives documenting at least three “fast failures” and remedies.
