Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for cost management and construction? We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. You will be responsible for cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. They will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Conduct cost analysis and assist in establishing a client’s requirements.
- Monitor project budgets and provide accurate cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and manage procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and quality standards in contracts.
- Identify and assess commercial risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and possess experience as a site engineer
- Professional qualification in NIQS or any other related certification is an added advantage
- PMP certification is an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of Construction Industry Practices, regulations, and standards
- Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning skills
- Planning and overseeing, allocating resources, materials, and equipment to optimise project efficiency.
- Experience in BOQ preparation and cost reporting
- Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Quantity take off software
- Experience working with Auto CAD and validating quantities from the given drawings
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of Construction materials, ensuring their compliance with industry standards
- Experience working on various Construction projects, including residential and commercial sites.
- Ability to manage multiple Construction Projects at various stages of their life cycle
- Professional certification or membership in relevant organizations is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
