Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, International Relations, or related field.
- Certification in project or event management is an advantage.
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in programme or event management, preferably in a chamber of commerce, trade association, or corporate setting.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale events and multi-stakeholder programmes.
Key Responsibilities
In fulfilling his or her operational responsibilities, the successful Candidate will;
- Develop the organization's annual programme calendar in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities for new initiatives, events, and partnerships that add value to members and stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-profile events including trade missions, business forums, networking sessions, training workshops, and flagship galas.
- Oversee event logistics, vendor coordination, sponsorship fulfilment, and delegate management.
- Develop and track programme KPis, ensuring continuous improvement in delivery.
- Produce post-event reports including financial summaries, attendance metrics, and impact assessments.
- Work with the Communications team to promote programmes through digital, media, and print channels.
- Coordinate with the Finance team for budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.
