We are seeking an experienced and detail-drivenProduction Supervisor to oversee our production floor, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of garments.
Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing daily operations of the production unit, coordinating tailors and production assistants, monitoring garment quality, and ensuring production deadlines are met. This individual will serve as a bridge between design and execution, maintaining high standards in line with Hertunba’s brand ethos.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Coordination
- Oversee daily workflow of tailors, machinists, and finishing staff.
- Ensure production schedules are met and orders are completed on time.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure fabrics/trims are available before production starts.
Quality Control
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures at each stage of production.
- Inspect garments to ensure precision in fit, finish, and detailing.
- Train staff on quality standards and best practices.
Team Supervision & Development
- Supervise and support the production team, resolving issues as they arise.
- Manage team performance, attendance, and discipline.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior production staff.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of production timelines, output, and defects.
- Report daily/weekly progress and challenges to management.
- Recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure the production floor is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to prevent downtime or hazards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role with a fashion brand.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong eye for detail and a passion for quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in production planning and reporting.
- Must be hands-on and solutions-oriented.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, on-site role.
- Monday – Friday (9 AM – 6 PM), with occasional weekend or overtime as needed.
- Must be able to stand and move around the production floor for extended periods.
