Job Summary
As a Product Owner, you will drive delivery for one or more digital products through Dragnet’s three-stage Product Lifecycle: Development, Go-To-Market, and Post-Launch Performance. You’ll work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, UX, Legal, and Compliance to ensure business alignment, data governance, and market-fit. You will own the backlog, champion user needs, maintain audit traceability, and report on performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate validated needs into a product vision and roadmap.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog (Epics → Features → Stories).
- Facilitate sprint demos and serve as the voice of the user and client.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to embed security and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise onboarding assets and ensure readiness for launch.
- Monitor post-launch metrics and maintain a backlog for continuous improvement.
- Lead structured stakeholder engagement and product governance reporting.
- Serve as Data Controller, ensuring platform compliance and audit readiness.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 3–5 years as a Product Owner or equivalent in a tech-driven environment.
- Prior exposure to compliance-heavy sectors (education, finance, health, etc.).
- Familiarity with frameworks like SAFe, ISO 27001, or QMS.
Certifications (preferred): CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM.
Tools: Jira, Confluence, Notion, Figma, GitHub Projects, Helpdesk systems.
Skills:
- Strong backlog management and story writing.
- Clear stakeholder communication.
- KPI tracking and data-driven prioritization.
- Understanding of data protection (e.g., NDPA, DSARs, user consent).

Job Type: Contract
Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
