What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Product Operations Specialist who thrives at the intersection of product, customers, and engineering. This role is perfect for someone who loves turning complex problems into simple solutions, ensuring smooth product delivery, and bridging the gap between what customers need and what engineering builds. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our fintech products run seamlessly, scale effectively, and delight our customers. -
Responsibilities
- Act as the first line of support for product-related issues, triaging customer inquiries across email, Slack, or ticketing tools.
- Investigate and resolve product bugs or escalate them to engineering when required.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and internal troubleshooting playbooks.
- Partner with the product and engineering teams to manage day-to-day product operations, ensuring uptime, reliability, and smooth rollouts.
- Support integration of Anchor’s APIs and tools into customer systems, including assisting with setup, configuration, and workflows.
- Conduct functional testing of product features and integrations before release to ensure quality.
- Deliver product training and onboarding for customers and internal teams.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for product usage, API guides, integration flows, and operational runbooks.
- Drive operational excellence by improving internal processes and reducing friction for both customers and internal teams.
- Gather insights from customer interactions, identify patterns, and share structured feedback with product managers to influence the roadmap.
- Collaborate with engineering to prioritize fixes, improvements, and enhancements.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer use cases to inform product evolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 4 years experience in product operations, technical support, product management, or related roles in fintech, SaaS, or API-first environments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to break down complex issues.
- Comfort with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations; ability to read and write simple queries (SQL) and scripts (Python/Java preferred).
- Exceptional communication skills—able to simplify technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving execution.
- Customer-first mindset with proven ability to balance customer needs and business priorities.
- Startup-ready: comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and energized by building processes from scratch.
