ROLE OVERVIEW

This fulltime onsite role is accountable for driving the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and continuous improvement. You will be instrumental in defining and prioritizing product initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our products solve real-world problems and meet key success metrics. The ideal candidate will have a pragmatic blend of product management expertise, technical understanding, passion for creating impactful user experiences, and stakeholder engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy & Execution

• Utilize product frameworks such as MoSCoW and RICE to define and prioritize product requirements.
• Manage product roadmaps, ensuring they are realistic and aligned with client expectations and business needs.
• Lead product discovery and scoping calls to understand the "why" and "what problem" the product aims to solve, and define key success metrics.
Where necessary, define and embed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the product lifecycle, including discovery, roadmap creation, and sprint planning.

Team Collaboration & Communication

• Ensure cross-functional team alignment by summarizing key points and actions after calls and sharing them on a common platform like Slack.
• Collaborate with development and design teams to make decisions on sprint content and ensure tasks contribute to the overall product goal.
• Facilitate discussions and guide team decisions based on project timelines and roadmap.
Work with technical teams (developers, designers) to get accurate timeline estimates and track progress using lead measures.

User & Stakeholder Engagement

• Conduct user interviews and surveys to gather feedback and validate product ideas.
• Manage client expectations and ensure alignment on project scope, budget, and time.
Define North Star metrics and constantly remind the team of these to ensure all efforts contribute to the desired user engagement and retention.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in product management with a background in software development and/or computer engineering.
• Proficiency in product frameworks (e.g., MoSCoW, RICE).
• Familiarity with Agile mindset and frameworks such as Scrum.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and managing product roadmaps.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience conducting user research, requirement gathering, including interviews and surveys.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and guide teams toward a common understanding and goal.
• A commitment to data-driven decision-making and a strong understanding of product metrics.
Experience with AI-powered products is an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a product manager.
Product Management certifications are a plus.
